You will be joining the Supply Chain team with colleagues from different nationalities and working in multiple different locations across the world.. We all chip in when and where it is needed, have a flat structure but high standards, enjoy a good laugh and a pragmatic and operational approach to supporting our agenda. What would your role look like?

This position works under direction of the US Supply Chain Manager and is primarily responsible for determining the weekly/daily schedules of finished goods and components to be produced in the US Oterra color production facilities. Position will start in West Allis, WI and be transitioning to Mt. Pleasant, WI in 12-18 months.


Principal Duties And Responsibilities

  1. Prepares long and short-term production plan and production orders to achieve delivery performance and optimize capacity output, taking into consideration staffing and equipment downtime.
  2. Ensures cleanliness and accuracy of SAP system and MRP inventory flows.
  3. Monitors and provides feedback on the Demand Forecast.
  4. Regularly reviews and maintains planning master data such lead time, yield rate, safety stocks and lot sizes for planning replenishment orders.
  5. Supports new product and sales projects:
    1. ensuring timely and accurate master data set up
    2. communicating and gaining alignment between Supply Chain, Sales, Production and Product Development for launch plans
  6. Communicates regularly with Customer Service on product delays or issues.
  7. Monitors floor stocking agreements and determines balanced safety stock levels for all finished, in-process and raw materials.
  8. Monitors stock turns and stock rotation to minimize/eliminate aged stock.
  9. Participates in and provides reports for monthly S&OP meetings and yearly budgeting activities.
  10. Produces planning scenarios for large projects and long-term capacity planning.
  11. Executes material requirements planning for key materials.
  12. Acts as back up to other Supply Planners and Procurement Specialists as needed



Who are we looking for?

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  1. Ability to read, write and speak English.
  2. Experience using one or more of the following applications in SAP; MRP (materials planning), PPDS (production planning detailed scheduling), eWM (extended warehouse management), IBP (integrated business planning).
  3. Strong Excel skills; spreadsheet analysis, formulas, and pivot tables.
  4. Strong communicator, ability to effectively communicate information, both orally and written, and respond to questions from managers, customers, vendors, and other employees in a professional manner.
  5. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  6. Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years’ experience in planning in a manufacturing environment.

Working Conditions

Working environment is generally favorable and in an office setting.  Lighting, temperature, and noise levels are adequate.  Travel is limited, employee may have opportunity for International travel.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to talk, hear, use a keyboard, and occasionally lift to 10 lbs.
