The Account Manager role will be part of the European Southern Sales team. In Oterra we have colleagues from across the whole world. Your day-to-day work will primarily be focused on sales development.

About the position
We are looking for an Account Manager to support our growth agenda with strong technical background. The successful candidate is a self-starter, knows what good looks like, and is a problem-solver with strong organisational and interpersonal skills. We are looking for someone who will lead the account development and penetration strategy for assigned customers or regions.
What you will be doing:
• Manage a protfolio accounts
• Manage Italian and Spanish Customers/Distributors
• Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to clients in a timely manner
• Contribute in positioning Oterra as leading and reliable high quality colour supplier in the country
• Open projects to guarantee long term business
• Team work with South Europe team
• Work in collaboration with ITCs, PM and Business Support
• Use CRM, forecasting....
• Promote launches and Campaigns in his/her customers
• Price List management
• Technical responsible for his/her account
• 60% travel is expected for relevant Tranings, Customer/Distributors visits
Who are we looking for?
We need an additional team player, who has the resources to strengthen the image of Oterra as a reliable supplier of high-quality natural colours for the food industry. We are looking for a person that is motivated by working with people. The right candidate will have high standards, strong communication skills, and the ability to develop relationships. Other soft skills we really appreciate are being resilient, collaborative, and having a good sense of humour.
Key attributes to succeed:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Food Science
• Previous technical sales experience of 4 years or more
• Understading of sales performance metrics
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Proficient in CRM systems, preferably SalesForce®
• Fluency in written and spoken Italian and English, Spanish will be also very welcome
• Demonstrated experience in Food & Beverage
• People’s skills
