We are looking for a Senior Account Manager to join our APAC Commercial team. This position is based in our Melbourne office in Australia. We all chip in when and where it is needed, have a flat structure but high standards, enjoy a good laugh and a pragmatic and operational approach to supporting our agenda. We love to learn and genuinely find our purpose and passion in Oterra.
What will your day-to-day look like?
• Develop and grow customer partnerships across ANZ, aligning with Oterra’s and APAC’s strategy.
• Identify growth drivers, execute commercial excellence practices, and implement sales plans.
• Manage the full sales cycle: budgeting, pipeline building, technical selling, negotiating, and contracting.
• Track performance, forecast demand, and take corrective actions when needed.
• Conduct market analysis to uncover opportunities, expand customer base, and shift prod-uct mix toward higher-value solutions.
• Plan and execute pricing strategies to support margin growth.
• Develop and execute regional growth strategies; collaborate with Marketing on go-to-market plans and product launches.
• Optimize service channels to meet customer needs and cost-to-serve requirements.
• Lead customer business reviews and proactively resolve issues and complaints.
Experience and skills required
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Food Science, Consumer Science, or related field.
• 8+ years in commercial business development or sales/account management in multina-tional companies.
• Experience with product launches and onboarding new customers from ideation to com-mercialization.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills for large-scale contracts.
• Solid analytical skills and financial modeling capability.
• Self-starter with a proactive, hands-on approach and strong problem-solving.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to work cross-functionally in multicultural environments.
• Preferred Qualifications: Salesforce and Power BI.
