You will be joining the EHS Team, also you will be located in Lima, Perú. We all chip in when and where it is needed, have a flat structure but high standards, enjoy a good laugh and a pragmatic and operational approach to supporting our agenda. We love to learn and genuinely find our purpose and passion in Oterra.
Who are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mining Engineering or similar.
What would your role look like?
- Ensure the accurate and timely recording of EHS document management, including the submission of periodic reports to regulatory agencies.
- Lead and/or assist in emergency response activities (coordinate drills and act as a point of contact with local emergency services).
- Oversee industrial hygiene programs.
- Develop, evaluate, and review local EHS plans.
- Identify and prioritize major hazards and risks on-site, ensuring actions are taken to mitigate or eliminate risks.
- Lead incident investigations for EHS and environmental incidents and participate in the management review of all serious incidents.
- Lead, coordinate, and participate in the development of EHS improvement initiatives.
- Lead the implementation and maintenance of EHS management systems.
- Promote and safeguard an "ownership" culture of EHS at all levels of the company.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Languages Required: English (advanced)
Certifications: ISO 45001 / 14001 internal auditor (mandatory), NEBOSH (preferred)
