What would your role look like?
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sustainability ESG Partner to join Oterra. Reporting directly to the Head of Global Sustainability, the Sustainability ESG Partner will play a key role in executing and accelerating the company’s sustainability strategy. The Sustainability ESG Partner will work closely with operations, sourcing, and commercial teams to integrate Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles into core business strategies, fostering long-term resilience and value creation. The ideal candidate should have strong project management skills, a proven ability to deliver results, and experience successfully managing internal stakeholders.
Duties and responsibilities:
• Support the Head of Global Sustainability in implementing the company’s sustainability strategy in alignment with business goals and priorities
• Plan, coordinate, and execute sustainability projects and programs in collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring timely delivery and measurable impact. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing priorities effectively
• Track and analyze sustainability metrics, prepare reports and presentations for internal and external audiences, and support the Head of Global Sustainability in preparations for upcoming CSRD reporting
• Stay informed of industry trends and best practices, integrating them into organizational strategies
Although our headquarters is in Hørsholm, Denmark, we are open to the right candidate being located elsewhere within the CET time zone.
Who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate has excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Experience and skills required:
• Master’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, or a closely related field
• 3-5 years of experience in corporate sustainability. Given that most of Oterra’s impacts lie within the supply chain, experience with sustainable sourcing programs is key
• Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced and constantly evolving work environment
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of successfully managing multiple internal stakeholders
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills; familiarity with sustainability metrics and KPIs
• Results-driven, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
