Global Operations and Supply Chain Senior Analyst

We are seeking a Global Operations & Supply Chain Senior Analyst to join our Operations Finance team. This is a high-impact role where you will provide financial insights, analysis, and business partnering to Oterra’s global operations teams—enabling cost efficiency, performance improvement, and strategic transformation across the supply chain.
You will work closely with colleagues in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Procurement, ensuring transparency on operational costs, supporting planning and forecasting processes, and driving productivity initiatives. This role is instrumental in positioning Finance as a true partner to Operations in delivering business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a finance business partner to global Operations functions (Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement).
- Prepare, analyze, and communicate monthly performance reports with clear explanations of variances and trends. Works closely with Head of Operations finance for review and communication sign off.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes across global operations.
- Deliver insights on key cost drivers, including cost of goods sold (COGS), conversion costs, cost to serve, logistics & freight costs, and raw materials.
- Contribute to the financial evaluation and tracking of productivity and efficiency initiatives as well as global price of non-conformance analysis.
- Supports CAPEX project evaluations through business case analysis and investment tracking in collaboration with the Head of Operations Finance.
- Maintain and ensure accuracy of product costings and support standard cost updates (SAP).
- Participate in and support global operations transformation projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist with internal controls and audit processes relevant to operations finance. Provide financial analysis and insights to senior management as needed.
- Ad-hoc analysis will be required on profitability framework developments and strategic topics that will be defined as part of annual performance process and management by objectives roadmap.
Job specific competencies
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in operations finance, cost controlling, or supply chain finance - preferably in a manufacturing or FMCG company.
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to communicate financial insights in a clear, business-relevant way.
- Proficiency in Excel and SAP S4/HANA required, experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools is a plus.
- Solid understanding of production, procurement, and supply chain finance concepts.
- Independent, detail-oriented, and structured in your work approach.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to collaborate with stakeholders across geographies and functions.
- Fluent in English.
