Pricing Analyst

The team for you to join

You will be joining the Product Management team with colleagues from different nationalities and working in multiple locations. You will report to our Pricing Strategy Manager. We are a team of highly motivated Product Managers, Product Analyst and Project Managers. We all chip in when and where it is needed, have a flat structure but high standards. We love to learn and genuinely find our purpose and passion in continuously improving our organization.

 

What would your role look like?

The Pricing Analyst is responsible for the analysis, reporting and tracking of Oterra´s pricing performance and plays an instrumental role in helping the business set competitive prices to maximize revenue and profitability to meet Oterra´s financial objectives.

A successful Pricing Analyst can analyze large amounts of data using multiple data sources, develop analysis templates/tools and synthesize various findings into actionable recommendations.

 

Reporting to the Pricing Strategy Manager:

You track and report on Oterra´s pricing performance, analyze and assess data to support the development of pricing strategy. You quantify and assess price change impact and offer recommendation to improve profitability.

You orchestrate and administrate our prices and discounts across a complex portfolio of products, segments, and customers. You manage day-to-day pricing activities and are the point of contact for Sales for price quotation requests.

You work closely with business leaders and our sales organization, share insights about pricing performance supporting them with the level of analysis required to take pricing decisions.

You lead the pricing process of our largest global strategic accounts in close collaboration with Sales and Product Managers.

You are a key contributor to the optimization of our end-to-end pricing processes and governance principles. You measure the adherence to our pricing guidelines.

You assist with the enhancements and creation of pricing systems, tools, and reporting dashboards that support better business decisions.

 

Who are we looking for?

 

To succeed in this position:

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, or economics
  • You have strong analytical skills and the ability to analyze large amounts of data using multiple data sources, develop analysis templates/tools and synthesize various findings into actionable recommendations
  • Eexperience in pricing, large data and profitability analysis is preferred
  • Experience in supporting commercial organizations is a plus
  • You are collaborative and able to establish strong cross-functional relationships
  • You are a good communicator with the ability to convey clear messages
  • You have advanced Excel skills, Power BI and experience working with Tableau and/or other data visualization
