About the position

As Payroll Manager Denmark you will be responsible for aligning the Danish Payroll via our outsourcing provider, and create a stable and reliable payroll for our employees in Denmark. Among other things you will be adding value and building your capabilities by:

 

  • Providing salary input and approve monthly time and attendance registrations
  • Being first point of contact for our leaders and employees for all questions connected to payroll, leave and documentation
  • Automating Payroll processes
  • Managing our notification requirements in connection with benefits reimbursement (barselsdagpenge, sygedagpenge, etc.)
  • Being responsible for creation of employee profiles and reporting (Visma, pension plans, travel agencies etc.)
  • Preparing employment contracts and various employee documentation
  • Correct online filing of employee documentation
  • Conducting initial administrative onboarding
  • Ensuring high data quality in Payroll and HR systems (SuccessFactors)
  • Vendor management support (visma)
  • Ad hoc HR projects

Based in our Hørsholm, you’ll join a dedicated international Human Resources team with colleagues working in multiple locations across the world. We are a newly established team and have an important task ahead of us, as we design, develop and deploy our new ways of working @oterra.

Who are you?

We are looking for an ambitious colleague with relevant experience, who is a naturally data savvy and has a collaborative approach to problem-solving. You are international in your mindset and enjoy working independently at both local, and sometimes global HR operational tasks.  

Our new team player has a can-do attitude and thrives with ambiguity. Not everything is in perfect order yet and a continuous improvement mindset is therefore important. Our preferred candidate will enjoy setting up processes and with that creating structure, stepping out of his/her comfort zone, challenging and asking questions.

 

 

Experience and skills needed

The right profile has broad payroll experience and some understanding of the basic HR processes, experience from project management and has a good understanding of where HR can add value to the business.

 

Specifically we are hoping to find a person with:

  • Extensive experience with the full Danish payroll process
  • Experience with vendor management for outsourced payroll solutions
  • Knowledge about collective agreements in Denmark (IO and IFO)
  • Basic employment law knowledge
  • Strong emotional intelligence as well as intellectual horsepower
  • Attention to detail and strong process orientation
  • Good influencing and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with Visma and Successfactors
