HR Data Analyst (Student Assistant)

The team – Global People & Culture

You will be joining the Global People & Culture team with colleagues globally from different nationalities and working in multiple different locations across the world. We are a newly established team and have an important task ahead of us, as we design, develop and deploy our new ways of working @oterra. We display that start up mentality and entrepreneurship in our operating model, as we build and establish ourselves as a high performing team and a value adding global function. We all chip in when and where it is needed, have a flat structure, high standards and a pragmatic and operational approach to supporting our people and culture agenda. We love to learn and genuinely find our purpose and passion in our business agenda and the development of people and organizations.

 

The role –

As HR Data Analyst you have a passion for people, are data savvy, analytical and get a kick of working with IT systems. You will be a great addition to the team and supporting primarily backend with preparing reports and analytical insights to managers and HR across the organization. You will have an excellent opportunity to applying your academic competences and skills in practice. We expect you to work 15-20 hours per week. We know, you will not know everything to start out with but you will learn fast and among other things you will build your capabilities by:

 

  • Driving and ensuring that our data quality is top of the notch globally in our HR systems (Successfactors)
  • Supporting the creation of our HR Dashbords at global and regional level
  • Supporting ad hoc requests from the business on HR data
  • Analyze people data and provide insights to understand developments
  • Providing diversity statistics to the management and the board
  • Analyze engagement statistics and turn the numbers into actionable insights
  • Assisting on various ad hoc projects
  • Ad hoc office admin tasks

 

It is you we are looking for?

We are looking for a colleague with intellectual horsepower and relevant academic skills, who is a naturally data savvy profile and has a collaborative approach to problem-solving. You are international in your mindset and who enjoy working independently at both local, regional and global HR operational tasks.

 

We need an additional team player on our team, who has a can do attitude and who thrive with ambiguity and not everything being in perfect order yet. We are looking for a person that is motivated by getting it right, not necessarily being right.

 

Specifically we are hoping to find a person with:

  • Minimum a bachelor’s degree in HRM, Business Administration, Law or other relevant university or business school degree
  • Proficient in working with IT systems and particularly skilled in excel and powerpoint
  • Preferable some experience in working with SuccessFactors and Peakon
  • Preferable has some relevant work experience, e.g. from a previous student position
  • A high attention to detail, is analytical, service minded and has good interpersonal skills
  • An international mindset and full professional English. Danish is not a requirement but a student work permit is required, if you are not an EU citizen.
