Operational Excellence Manager

What would your role look like?

Reporting to the manager of the production site of Cossé le Vivien (53), you also work in conjunction with the group's Continuous Improvement manager. You optimize the performance of Production, Supply Chain and Back Office by coordinating continuous improvement, you support transformation.

Your main missions will be:

You will navigate on the SAP tool, 4HANA including MM, QM and EWM modules.

You have a Lean mindset and develop the actions to be implemented with the targeted managers by accompanying them in the implementation of the change

You guarantee the strategy, objectives and KPIs, in their implementation and the monitoring, coaching the teams.

In a context of the implementation of SAP and lean management within Oterra, you know how to set up and deploy the necessary actions. You will be the initiator and pillar of these projects.

Performance Improvement Plan:

  • Analyze and ensure the implementation of the Performance Improvement Plan and its follow up on all the production sites you are in charge of
  • Give the vision to the Management of the progress towards the excellence of the site, as well as to the project team
  • Facilitate and monitor internal and external audits, integrate recommendations into the Performance Improvement Plan
  • Manage Operational Excellence projects using Oterra project management tools
  • Manage Industrial Performance improvement projects by working as a team to achieve performance objectives (Continuous improvement savings)
  • Support improvements in productivity, production cost management and customer satisfaction
  • Participate in loss analysis, with the identification and prioritization of opportunities for performance improvement
  • Share your feedback, your "best practices" with the other production sites of the group

Continuous improvement:

  • Accompany, train and assist operational staff in the implementation of the LEAN projects
  • Lead working groups and LEAN projects (KPI, Visual Management, Kanban, Lean Office...)
  • Set up the Kaizen tool on dedicated projects
  • Propose realistic and cost-effective solutions
  • Coaching management through the LEAN culture
  • Animate and transmit the structured method of solving problems such as PDCA and DMAIC.
  • Lead team meetings (set-up, follow-up, support, etc.)

 

Who are we looking for?

Coming from a BAC + 5 (Engineer / Business Administration degrees) training, you have at least 5 years of experience in continuous improvement, ideally in the Food industry.

You have SAP knowledge of MM, QM, EWM modules. You master the Kaizen tool.

You must be familiar with Lean 5S, TPM, PDCA, SMED, VSM and ideally Six Sigmas and DMAIC in future projects, for which training will be considered.

You have already set up a Lean and change management organization on a production site.

You are an excellent communicator allowing to combine a proximity field, a height of view necessary to develop several projects simultaneously and to make all the teams adhere.

You are fluent in English and are proficient in MS Project, Excel, Visio, and Minitab (or similar).

Autonomous and positive leader, you like ambitious challenges. You want to invest in the long term, and be part of the implementation of this project.
